Created in 1987, the Kenyon Athletics Hall of Fame inducted its inaugural class in 1988. The Hall of Fame provides recognition to those well-deserving athletes, administrators, coaches and staff members who brought distinction and honor to the College’s Athletics Department. Inductees represent the spirit of athletic competition at Kenyon and exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship, integrity and devotion.
Kenyon's Office of Athletics Communications accepts nominations from family, friends, teammates, alumni, coaches, etc. throughout the year. These nominations are forwarded to a selection committee, which is tasked with the evaluation of each nominee and then voting on a final induction class.
The induction class is notified and a ceremony is held during Homecoming Weekend to honor the newest members of the Hall of Fame.
To nominate someone you feel is worthy of a Kenyon Athletic Hall of Fame induction, please use the Hall of Fame nomination form.
In addition to selecting the Hall of Fame inductees, the athletic association also presents the
Burchell H. Rowe Award and the
Donald May Award.
