Kenyon College Athletics

The 1937-38 team holds the honor of starting Kenyon's unprecedented success in swimming and diving. Coached by Chuck Imel, the Lords emerged as the College's first undefeated team and Ohio Athletic Conference champion. The squad extended its success to the national level where Kenyon finished among the top 15 teams in the country at a time when all colleges and universities competed in the same national meet. The season also included victories over Ohio University, the University of Cincinnati, and the University of Illinois.
