Elizabeth Carlton amassed 20 All-America certificates and won nine NCAA Championship event titles. She excelled in sprints and twice claimed the national crown in the 50-yard freestyle (2007, 2009). Her other seven NCAA event titles were collected in relay competition. She was a part of three straight titles in the 200-yard freestyle (2007, 2008, 2009), one in the 400-yard freestyle (2007), two more in the 200-yard medley relay (2006, 2007) and one in 400-yard medley relay (2007). Carlton was Kenyon's 2009 Senior Athlete of the Year. She was awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship and remains one of just two Ladies to be voted to three consecutive College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-America teams.
