One of the most versatile swimmers in the history of the Kenyon program, Christopher Shedd was a member of the Lords' first four national championship swim teams. Throughout his career, Shedd collected two national individual titles, seven national relay titles, and 23 All-America awards. He was named the NCAA Division III Swimmer of the Year in 1983, the same season in which he became the first Division III swimmer to break the 1:40:00 mark in the 200-yard freestyle.
