Hall of Fame
Lane was one of those rare athletes that could not only help a program win, but help it mature. The mid-1970s were the early years for women's sports at Kenyon, but student-athletes like Lane engaged the adversity and paved the way for a solid future. She played basketball, field hockey, and lacrosse and graduated with four varsity letters in each sport. She was a captain in all three sports and an MVP in both field hockey and lacrosse. Lane was also named Kenyon's 1978-79 Senior Athlete of the Year. She is the only person to be inducted into the KAA Hall of Fame and earn both the KAA's Burchell Rowe and Donald May awards.
