Marisha Stawiski won 19 national event championships, including eight individual events. She was a three-time national champion in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle, winning each event in three consecutive seasons. Her other two individual titles were captured in the 200-yard freestyle. During her junior season of 1998, she swept all three events and was voted the NCAA Division III Swimmer of the Year. She earned 24 All-America awards and set seven national records. At the conference level, Stawiski won 12 NCAC event titles, including three straight in the 50-yard freestyle.
