One of the first outstanding multi-sport athletes at Kenyon, Henry Harrison Greer earned a total of 11 varsity letters. Four of those letters were earned in track and field where he was one of the top sprinters in Ohio, evidenced by the fact that he concluded the 1927 season undefeated in the 220-yard dash. Greer also competed in basketball for the Lords and went on to join the Toledo Mudhens after graduation, becoming one of the first Kenyon graduates to play sports on a professional level.
