Hall of Fame
Reliable and versatile, Amelia Armstrong came through strong on the national stage. Her NCAA title count includes eight wins spread through four different events: the 500-yard freestyle, the 400-yard individual medley, the 1,650-yard freestyle, and the 800-yard freestyle relay. She was a 12-time All-American, voted team captain her senior season, was named a Kenyon Senior Athlete of the Year, and was presented with the 1999 Stephen E. Bennett Memorial Award. On the conference level, Armstrong racked up a total of nine North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) event titles.
